General Questions

Where is the office located? Or are you virtual?

Virtual

What are your office hours?

Monday-Friday, 9 AM PST- 5 PM PST

Do you offer video or phone sessions?

Video conference sessions. In very rare circumstances due often to technical difficulties on either end, we can switch to a phone session.

Teletherapy services are offered via SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant, video-conference platform. After scheduling your intake appointment with your provider, you will receive an email with prompts to complete the intake forms and questionnaires online.

How long is a typical session?

45-60 minutes

What do I do to get started and make an appointment?

Reach out for complimentary phone consultation or schedule a consultation on my calendar.

What is the hourly fee?

$165/session. Sliding scale available.

How do I pay?

Credit card (kept on file, charged after each completed session)

Do you accept insurance?

No, we are not currently contracted with any insurance companies.

However, a superbill can be provided for the client to submit to their insurance company for possible out-of-network (OON) reimbursement.

We encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to inquire about possible OON benefits.

Can I cancel an appointment?

Yes. Will be discussed during beginning of treatment.

What is a free initial phone consultation?

An opportunity for a potential client to ask questions about what the experience of being in therapy with a potential therapist would be like, to see if the therapist and client would be a good fit based on the client’s therapy goals and the therapist’s expertise.

What is the age range of your clients?

Adults - all ages.

What can I expect in the first session?

Discussing the informed consent process of therapy- what to expect/how to make the most of therapy, risks/benefits of therapy, limits of confidentiality, as well as a thorough intake so that an overall understanding of the various social, psychological, interpersonal, medical, spiritual/faith components of a client’s life can be understood, as well as the goals the client has for their therapy.

How long will I be in therapy?

Depends on various factors. Some clients are in therapy for several months at a time after successfully addressing an issue and will take a break and return when they feel they need more support. Other clients might need more time in therapy- it is up to the client as to how long and what frequency of sessions works for them.

Is our work confidential?

Yes. While there are exceptions to that confidentiality such as mandated reporting (explained during informed consent process) and possible sharing of diagnostic codes if seeking reimbursement from insurance, the information shared during sessions is kept confidential.

Change is possible. Fulfillment is possible. Connection is possible.
